Lexington's third annual World Refugee Day Summit is Thursday, June 16th! It's a full day of learning about Lexington's refugee populations and how we can all work together to better serve and welcome them. Join us!
Attend a full day of sessions to hear amazing stories from refugees who now call Lexington home.
Talk with other community members and service providers to learn about best practices at our Networking Lunches.
Session topics include: Mental Health and the effects of Trauma, Government and Community Services, Healthcare, Housing, and K-12 Education.
New sessions this year will include an ESL instruction/ tutor training, comprehensive knowledge about trauma and mental health (in particular from a Syrian refugee camp perspective), and a resettlement film screening.
$25 registration fee includes parking for the day in the Library's garage and lunch.
